The Royal Marines Charity Logo

The Gym Movement was created by a serving member of the Royal Marines, who alone has raised over £1000 for The Royal Marines Charity. The very foundations of the company were formed around the Royal Marine ethos and as such, The Royal Marines Charity sits very close to our the heart. £1 of every product sold will be donated to the charity so imagine what we can do with your support!

Who are The Royal Marines Charity?

The Royal Marines Charity was formed in 2010 and exist to provide a lifetime of support to the Royal Marines family. Their mission is to provide support, advice and friendship to serving and retired Royal Marines, their families and dependents, those with aspirations to join and those with close links to the Royal Marines. This support includes but is not limited to; helping those who are wounded or injured, suffering from life limiting illness, mental disability, transition to civilian life and even poverty AND is a lifetime commitment.

Why the Royal Marines?

The Royal Marines as an organisation are an integral part of both domestic and global security and stability and are deployed on active duty on all continents 365 days of the year.

During the Afghanistan campaign, they participated in a third of all tours and as such, received a disproportionate amount of fatalities and injuries and a disproportionate amount of charitable support. As a statistic, 13% of all fatalities were Royal Marines who form only 4% of the UK Armed Forces and the charitable support only reflected this latter percentage. This was another reason behind the forming of The Royal Marines Charity.

The Royal Marines ethos, attitude and lifestyle is something to be respected and admired and part of this company's vision is to expand this mindset into the global community. We honestly believe this would change the world for the better.
